AND DON'T FORGET PLANTS!  Unity Garden's 4th Annual Plant Sale will take place Friday and Saturday.  They've got lots of vegetables, flowers, herbs, shrubs,  and some trees.  So buy where it will make an impact on your community.   With that said today's green tip is Buy Local!  

It's a no-brainer that locally grown food has spent less time in transit and storage, where flavor and nutrition start to fade.  Long journeys also mean varieties of fruit and vegetables are picked for their suitability to travel well-not because they taste good!
