What's up with Junk Evolution?

Remember when we redecorated Camillia cosmetics and part of the deal was that Linda and I got head to toe makeovers?  Well, we got them and had so much fun last Monday.  The whole Re-Styled team was there and made us feel like we were famous movie stars.  Alanna had gone shopping for us with a whole rack of clothes picked out just for us,  and we loved what she picked!   Rebecca did our make up and the gals at the Nicholas J salon did our hair. We left with lots of great information on our make up and clothes and a bag full of products and a few new outfits!   For more information check out the new site www.restylemakeovers.com.  Our " trade of transformations" story will be featured in the November issue of "Sassy" magazine.

As far as Interior Design...
We are working with the new manager Andrew on a small portion of the theater-a Brew pub.

And a room at the historical Kizer house for a Christmas walk.

This great chair will be a part of the decor.   I'm working with a new upholster on this project and can't wait to see it transformed.
We'll keep you posted on all these projects !

The Golden Hour

This is the time of the year that I want to capture every glance because of the beauty that surrounds us.  I carry a camera with me at all times for moments like these.  Even the mundane is made more spectacular with a pop of color and a grey sky.

Love this Van Gogh sky!

We have a couple of these small versatile farm tables, use them for a desk,
vanity or kitchen island.

Crates full of warm blankets

and tables laden with vintage finery for all your entertaining needs.
And we can't forget the golden dommers-Go Irish!

Remember the Barn Fest?

I always get kind of nostalgic this time of the year and came across these old pictures from October 17, & 18, 2009.  I guess you could say we began in a barn!  We had a small room at the Creamery Antique mall but really wanted to show case what we really love to do-transform!  We made this old barn look like you could almost move in.

No body remembers it better than Linda, who fell while we were setting up and broke her arm.  Being the trooper that she is it never stopped her from her mission.  It was also a very cold and windy weekend.

We also had guest artists surrounding the barn.
