Wedding Day Part 2

And now for the rest of the story....All photographs property of Ryan Hodges.  He's such a talented young man, please do not copy without his permission or mine :)

Men in Grey (and the white shoes-they were all ecstatic about!)

Leap of Faith and jumping for joy   (One of my favorite photo's).

And our little bride decides to pour her heart out in a love letter to her sweetheart,
right before pictures.

The ladies in front of a quilt garden at the Old Bag Factory (my talented mom
made all the bridesmaid dresses)  Thanks Mom!

Drew & Rosemary (We tucked sprigs of Rosemary in
the boutineers )Because Rosemary is for Remembrance.
Her bouquet was wrapped in Great Grandma Rosemary's
monogramed handkerchief.

Mr. & Mrs. Drew Carpenter

Ellie-who doesn't like to wear dresses!  So much a tomboy, like my daughter
once was growing up with brothers.

The Carpenter Bros.

Tinkling glasses
It was such a beautiful start for two loving hearts who continue to teach me so much about love each and everyday.
 Oh the joys of Life!
Everything and more a mother could wish for.

And it was!

The Old Bag Factory

This antique play pen was perfect for the gifts...afterwards we just loaded it
in my SUV and took the gifts home.  It's available for rent!

The Candles are available to rent from Luna Moth-more information to come!

All the centerpieces were different, we had so much fun creating them.
The gift card bike is also for Rent.

As we all know the "things" are just that.  However they do help to make the wedding, they  give a sense of taste and style and set the mood.  They make your guests and the wedding party feel special.  The things we  remember are the smiles and the laughs, and the tears among all the special moments that go by way to fast.
I couldn't post all the photo's at once but will share a few of the people photo's at another time.  For more information on "getting the goods" please contact me or Linda.  We would love to help you with your special day!  We have lots of great items available to rent, and lots of resources.

African Style

So sorry for the delay in getting these posted.  Just goes to show how dependent we become with modern technology when the computer is down.
Anyhow, here is the look of August at junk E.  A fun mix of mid-century modern with some tribal accents, and vintage safari.  Due to the fact that these were taken on First Friday, not all furnishings will still be available, but the good news is...they've been replaced with new items!  So stop by.  This is College Student week and we're bringing in lots of smaller furniture items-great for dorms and small apartments!

A great firepit

You know how we love a challenge, and always think outside of the we wanted to decorate the shop in an unexpected way but still incorporate fun objects that would fit todays lifestyles.  That's exactly what our Africa Theme did!
It starts Friday August 3 at 5-9.
You won't want to miss it!

Many thanks to my dear friends Steve & Lisa for sharing these photo's taken during the last few years when they lived in Africa.  This was their safari hut and the animals wonder freely.
