A Day to remember, April 29, 2011

I woke up early Friday so I could see history in the making, and couldn't resist taking a few pictures (of my television!) from the best seat in the house, and wearing sweats!  It was so enchanting, and it even inspired Linda and I for a theme for next year...  My favorite part was this quote from the Bishop
"Be who God meant for you to be and you will set the world on fire."  Saint Catherine
Amen to that sister!

Friday was also the day for our Table Scapeing luncheon and style show for the Elkhart Hospital Auxiliary.  Our theme was "Bird Song."  If we would have realized the date,  it would have been a Royal theme!

A wedding everyone was invited to!

Setting up the table

we went with a fun mix of Asian, and blue and white state
plates, and tarnished silver chargers.

All the proceeds from this event go towards nursing scholarships.  It's a very
fun event to attend.  Next year will be their 10th year.

  1. You two have all the fun. I love the table and your theme. But it is the umbrella that sets it off. Tell me did the ladies have lunch at the table? I would hope so!

  2. Thanks Glenda! No, they didn't get to eat on these tables.
