Tablescaping

For Linda and I setting a great table is like playing.  We both have a thing for dishes so it's great
when you get to break them out and use them.

Sometimes simple is best.  Our high is the Lenox china in the wheat pattern, paired with a hefty beer mug on a rustic farm table.  Our low-straw seating!   A collection of vintage linen towels serve as a large napkin.

This mid century modern dish set mixed with the formal silver chargers and bowls, and simple black mugs also makes for a fun setting.

And I love the warmth that wood offers, especially in the Autumn. Bottom Line is-just have fun with it, play around and don't worry about it.  Your guests will see that the effort was made and it will be appreciate.

All life is an experiment. The more experiments you make the better.

  1. I Love the Farm Table with the Lenox china and how you finished it off with the linen towels. if I had a large kitchen I would love that table...I'm with you both on dishes, and I also have a thing for glassware so loving those mugs also....very rustic but pretty at the same time...

  2. Ok, I'm making out my wish list as I type. One farmhouse table, one World map, one set of wheat dishes, I could go on and on. My junkin' friends your talent is unbelievable.
