The Creamery Open House
Our open house was last night, and we had a wonderful group of people show up. Thank you to everyone of you who came to browse, encourage and support THE GREEN TEAM. We had a blast, and sold a lot. Linda is hamming it bee low (pun intended! She's on the bee hive flower pot., typing a lot of Thank you notes on the music table!
Our dear friends Sarah and Mike Cook baked this incredible cake for us, along with a zillion miniature cupcakes, that by the way were gone by the end of the night. They have a few business adventures as well...Classy Crumbs, custom cakes made to order. You pick the flavor, colors, size and theme and they will make it happen!
They also do creative paint finishes. Check out their web site at www.creativefinishesllc.com

Happy Earth Day
It's earth day, and what a beautiful day it is. It's suppose to be close to 70 degree's today. I went for an early morning walk, and weeded my gardens and what to my surprise...my asparagus is starting to sprout! Yesterday I made rhubarb pie, and sauce for icecream. Take the time to enjoy nature today!

Open House Invitation
Earth Day is Everyday! Please be kind and reduce waste in the world. If everyone started using reusable bags for grocery shopping, or gift giving we could help rid the planet of so much waste. Here are a few other things you can do to help...
line dry clothes-it will save electricity and ironing!
Support businesses that are local.
Buy organic
Start a compost pile
Use cloth napkins, diapers etc
Buy used household goods. The oldies are the goodies. If you can't afford real wood furniture buy the best used furniture that you can afford. That which will still be here to pass down or sell again.
Please join us for our Grand Opening Celebration at
The Old Creamery Antique Gallery.

Table scaping 101
My partner Linda Sherck and I love to entertain, and go the whole 9 yards for presentation. The food can be wonderful but the extra effort in the table is what makes your friends feel special.
Linda and I set this beautiful table the dishes sold that day, and the table and chairs three days later! So we decided to take it on the road. We are giving classes in your homes. We'll come over early pull out your dishes etc and come up with new and interesting idea's for your entertaining needs. We'll also bring some of our favorite junk items that you didn't think of using on your table! For more information regarding prices etc contact us through this post.

Urban Twist
When you love the process of creating it goes into everything...so these are some of my other passions/business ventures. Urban Twist is my line of jewelry using very industrial things like nuts and bolts on waxed linen or hemp and mixing in found objects and stone beads. And as far as clothing goes, I do that too. These comfortable cotton tee's are actually Amish under wear gone wild-Rumspringa Wear. Hand dyed and embellished with beads etc and string dyed. I sell them at Accent's in Goshen, In. Also at Urban Lily's in South Bend, IN.

Finally a Blog!
Junk Evolution is the creative endeavors of a group of designers, collectors and artists. We started this business when 3 of us lost our jobs due to the economy's 18% unemployment rate in our county, But alas we are doing what we love, so out of all bad comes good.
